Jon Lester has something to prove but so does Jake Westbrook. Neither goes five. Red Sox win the first game.
Sabathia vs. Dice-K could be a pitching duel, but in the end, the Indians win.
Josh Beckett shows that he deserves equal consideration with CC Sabathia and dominates the Tribe on Wednesday.
Kason Gabbard dominates Cliff Lee who has had only one really solid performance, a shutout of the Angels in May.
Red Sox take 3 out of 4. Manny hits two home runs and is horribly booed at every appearance even though he has been a Red Sox longer than he was an Indian.

Red Sox take 3 of 4. If it were the playoffs I think CC would win twice and either Byrd or Lee would step up in the middle of the series. Both of those pitchers are good no matter what their records reflect. Post-season is not a carry over, it's a whole new season. I really think Boston on the surface looks tough but I think they are very beatable in a 5-game series since they would more than likely face the teams best pitcher twice. CC is better than Beckett and seeing Becks often when he was in the NL East I will stand by that comment!
1. Red Sox (if you mean this series coming up)
2. I think 5 homers will be hit.

Indians 3 out of 4
Just because the Red Sox don't look as powerful as they were in the beginning of the season, but I do think it would be a close match-up Boston is a really tough team to beat.
3 home runs total

I'm hoping Boston takes 3 of 4, and KC takes 4 of 4 from NY, and the whiney sux lose 5 more games in a row.
That would clearly put Boston in front, and the white sux DOWN DOWN DOWN!!!
But that probably wont happen.
Boston will probably split with Cleveland
and the yankees will lose 3 of 4 to KC.
Boston will take 3 of 4 and hit 7 homeruns this series
Cleveland will only hit 3.

1.Boston takes 3 out of 4, including a dominant return by Lester in the opener.
2.Boston's pitching dominates the series and their bats remain cold, so only 6 home runs are hit.
