The last time I saw my dad alive was on Fathers day 1992. We had a great day. As my family and I were getting ready to leave, dad came up and gave me the very first hug I ever got from him. I was 39 at the time. Of course I returned it to him. The next night we got the call telling us he had a very bad heart attack, and they didn't think he was going to make it. He died about 18 hours later, with his family around him. I will always cherish that first, and last hug. I still miss him to this day.

I know my Granny she died my mom is great too but could never take the place of my granny...I would never let her know that is how I feel though but I love her and will do all in my power to help her any ways possible...smiles

Sadly, I know them both.They THINK they know me, but don't. My father is a self-deluded sociopath who defines love as making himself feel special at the expense of those he claims to love.
My mother is a petty, greedy, selfish ***** who turned her back on her own flesh and blood to fulfill her perception of someone else's expectations. We haven't spoken in three years and good for me. I can't stand either of them.

I know my parents very well.... I wish I could spend more time with them but we live too far apart....but I speak to them every day and make sure that I tell them that I love them....

I know my parents... I know they loathe me and never want to speak to me again. I was the "white" sheep of the family. No big deal for me.
