How much do you get for back to school shopping?

I used to get a lot when i was younger, but my dad had a stroke and so we can't afford as much. So now i only get like $60 of my own money. My aunt used to take me and my brother on a back to school shopping trip each year but she got divorced and i'm not sure if she's taking us this year since things are tight with money. SO my question is, how much to you get? and how are some ways i can make more money to shop with this summer? --WILL AWARD A BEST ANSWER IF YOU ANSWER THAT LAST QUESTION WELL--

Idk how much I get, maybe like $150, but here are some ways you can make money:
-Get a lifeguard certification- it pays like 10-15 dollars an hour and you can start at age 15
-Babysit
-Be one of those people who twirl signs for used car sales, apartment openings, furniture stores, etc.
-While neighbors are on vacation, feed their pets, water their plants, get their mail, etc.
-Have a carwash
-Have a bakesale
-Walk neighbors dogs
-Do yardwork for an elderly (or non-elderly) neighbor
-Have a garage sale
All these jobs you can have under 16 and I've had experience with a few cause I'm 15!!!!

My mom is awesome! I'm going into high school this year and she's giving $700 dollars for all the times i babysat w/ out complaint! I have no clue if i can spend that much, but i'll try. I have a lot of neighbors gone this summer, so i often petsit, thats an easy way to get money since i love money, i also offer house sitting where i clean their houses whil i'm gone. I've earned close to $300 w/ that by itself, my bf is low on money and she did a garage sale, she got rid of all her junk and made well over 200. She took the clothes that don't fit her to platos closet and got $70. You can try baysitting, or if you really want a siimple task than do a lemonade stand, put it in a good place, my younger friends do it and they earn anywhere from 100-250 a summer

It generally depends on what I actually need, versus what I want and what's in style. I have a good eye for fashion and I don't just go out and buy something - I think about what I would wear it with, how much use I would get out of it, etc... Also, my family is fortunate and we don't really have to worry about money much, so my parents are a little more generous about how much I get to spend on back to school shopping. To sum that all up, I don't get a set amount - it depends on what I need.

To answer your second question, you can make money by:

- babysitting
- pet-sitting
- lemonade stand
- giving old clothes to consignment shops (can pay well!)
- put out a listing advertising yourself
- tutoring
- odd jobs

i just go around into different stores at the mall.i pick up little things here and there.i usually only spend up to ten dollars on each item.i rolled my change in my mom and dads basket.my mm said i could have all of it and there was 65.00!!!!i spent it wisely though and got a lot of stuff.if u have a rue21 that would be an awesome place to get stuff.i got cute striped shirts for 3.00 each!!!.for money this summer.u could hold ur own garage sale.make some homemade keychains and sell them,babysit,u could mow grass to.its not only for a boy!!!lol.:) :).u could even look for local jobs available for like teenagers.and most importantly have fun on ur summer vacation.!!!!!!

Things are the same in my family so what you have to do is start shoppong at discount stores and maybe geta job as a dog walker. That's what I do and I make $75 dollars per week. Or you can run a babysitting business. You can even try cleaning people's houses. I hope you get enough money and I hope that this helped.

I get 35 dollars

You can make money by getting a job if you are older than 15. Other wise you can babysit, do extra chores around the neighborhood and house, walk pets, and mow lawns. You could also think of getting a newspaper route.

A great way to earn some extra cash is to sell old clothes you dont like or grew out of on ebay! I do it all the time thats how i made alot of my money.
