It is easily Dark Side of the Moon. It lasted on the top 100 albums for an unbelIEvable amount of time(I think it was like 25 years). It is also a ground breaking album for being able to implement synthesizers, overdubbing, and music use of basic sound effects (ie: the alarm clocks on "Time"). It is an album meant to be listened to from start to finish, not all the other albums on that list can say that. Some of those albums, not all, rely on a "commercial hit" to get fans to buy it and then go from there. That is why Pink Floyd is so great. They focused on the ALBUM and not a hit song and the result is great listening through the whole thing.

That is a tough call. I guess, I would have to go with,
Dark Side of The Moon followed by Abbey Road then Zepp II.

Regarding the albums that you list, the one that has been the most influencial would most likely be Abbey Road.

But my personal choice for the best album would be Dark Side of the Moon.
I have been told that it holds the record for length of time on the charts and placement on the charts means sales.
BTW in place of #9 I would put Willie Nelson's album Stardust.
It stayed on the album charts for well over 10 years.

that's tough but, in a tight one between, Back in Black and, Dark Side of the Moon, I would have to pick Dark Side of the Moon. Mostly because it still sell's thousand's of copies, each year. Back in Black does also but, Back in Black, was only released in 1980, Dark Side of the Moon, was released in 1973.

Even though the Beatles were my first love I'd have to be honest and say "Dark Side of the Moon".

Good choices but I'd have to go with Who's Next.....Begind Blue Eyes, Baba O'Reily, Won't Get Fooled Again.....arguably some of the best songs ever written.
