Yes many times. My Grandpa was a police officer and my dad is captain of the police department now. I was always taught (by my grandpa) not to point a gun unless you have to use it cause you can get hurt using one to just try to scare someone.

Many times. I have a concealed weapons permit and carry a gun some of the time.
I hunted small game as a youngster, fired numerous weapons while in the military service. I own 2 handguns and a rifle.

Yes, and I must say I'm pretty good at it. My ex-husband was a cop and he taught me how to shoot with much emphasis on gun safety.

Part of my job in law enforcement for over 24 years now. I am a huge fan of gun safety classes for those not familiar with weapons.

my dad wanted me to shoot a gun,also my husband,i did not i hate guns,my husbands have taught all 3 of our childrens.also safety rules.my oldest daughter was a police officer up until a year ago.

Yes. I was forced to by the military. I can take an M-16 apart and put it back together in just over a minute too.

Yep. I was in the Army Cadets for a number of years ... and while I was, they trained me about guns and gun safety. I was a pretty good shot ... rarely missed my mark. :)

YES I HAD A PELLET GUN WHEN I WAS 8 YEARS OLD. MY BROTHER IS A BIG HUNTER AND I HAVE FIRED SOME OF HIS GUNS OVER THE YEARS. MY FAVORITE WAS A SMALL HAND GUN. I FELT LIKE POLICE WOMAN!!
