I'd grab the phone call 911 and go out the front door. Would I attack them, not at all. I don't know if they have a gun or not. The only way I would attack them is if they were harming me physically and I had no way of getting away and then Yes, I would go for the kill in a heartbeat.

If they have made enough noise to wake me up, then I must assume they do not care if I know they are in my house. Therefore they must be armed or believe they have a good chance at taking me out. Therefore, they must die. It makes no sense to merely wound someone who is attempting to kill you. I would not go and hunt them down, but rather lay in wait at the top if the stairs (choke point) as the soon to be dead bad guys get into the confines of my narrow & straight stairwell, I attack with the shotgun ending any and all threats to my family and myself. Oh, and if they were not armed? Well that's why I keep a big block of knives in the kitchen... Odie 1 (or 2), dead bag guys 0.

I've been burgled 3 times and the last time, I disturbed the 2 low lifes. They run out the back door, with a back pack containing all the items that they stole. I swear that if I had had a gun on me, I would have shot them both in the legs. One to stop them and secondly, to cause them a bit of pain, till the police came. They don't deserve any allowances, to break into your home and take what they didn't work for.

This is a very difficult question as these days the 'criminals' have more rights than the we do.Me personally i would try to protect my family & at no cost would i hesitate to defend them,as they are my loved ones,but to kill them i would have to say NO.I would only try to restrain them untill the authorities arrived as if they got away i would be afraid they would come back to seek revenge on the people within the house,i would use all possible means to hold him there & if it came down to it i would hurt him/her if need be.Only as self defence would i attack someone knowing i was going to cause death or permanant injury as i dont belive in bodily harm unless absoulutly nessesary.

Not the Kill but give him / her a few stitches at least with a Baseball bat or golf club. use a Knife if you like but you should give them a souvenir of his / her visit to your Place so that they remember to give your place a skip next time round the Block. You should have a cup of hot tea or even cold water or turpentine or what might come to hand acid and give it to them in the face that will put them off guard for a second blind them then. Now give them a very hard crack of the Bat or whatever in the shin bone they will not be walking or running away after that Give a second one if needs be as you know a kick in the shin is very very sore bit of business. (Don't let them grab Your weapon) or regain the upper hand be careful. and Good Luck.
PS Drag them outside your front door and call the cops.

It depends on what was happening who was with me at the house. when i was 15 there was someone trying to get in the house we had a gun so i went and got it and started yellin acting like my dad was home i was babysiting a little grl about 1 yr and my 14 yr old cuz was there and she had the baby hidding so if they got in they would think i was the only one well they got the door open i yelled and played the tape with my dads voice on it and they left then i called my ma it was day light and she was at work so i would of went for kill if the would of got in all the way.

I would probably start off with a bit of torture once the dogs got bored chewing on the slimy f*ck. Nothing more than a propane torch and a pair of pliers. If they become defiant and cocky well then I would probably call my mom over to enlighten me on why this person should live or die. Resivior Dogs is a good example, nice learning tool. HEHE Oh and by the way clorox is a good disinfectant and cleaning product.

It depends. he or she is in the process of breaking in. a crime in process. if I was within reach of a weapon I would shot to maim. I would not give them a chance to approach me on that level. I would go for the knee caps and the hands. tie them up and call the law. If I was caught off guard at gun point,i would talk my way to safety by agreeing with the actions of the burglar, while l mentally scan for a diversion at the same time.if he tries to attack me I would scream (fire)! and look for a fountain pen, or key's to gouge out the eyes or to insert in the ears as hard as I could. or if I can I'd use the bottom of my palm and push his nose septum into his brain. this would probably kill him instantly. but hey, it is self defense. and you should never call for help.it will not bring you assistance fast enough. fire will bring em,running every time.

Well if someone was breaking into my house I would definitly go for the kill since I live in Florida. Thats if my dog doesn't get them 1st.

Well I am from the United States and you know how we feel about gun control. To answer your question, if I was minding my own business, in my own house and someone broke in intending to do myself or someone in my family bodily injury I would shoot them as many times as possible, then call the police and sleep like a baby that night.
Sorry, but I did nothing wrong.......
