I have a beautiful red throw blanket. I am not quite sure of the material - it is similar to a wool. It wasn't very expensive, but it is my favorite. Unfortunately, it sheds everywhere. On the sofa, on the carpet, on my clothing. Is there a way to remove any excess "fluff" to avoid any shedding? Or is this just the way the blanket is?

I would check the washing instructions on the label. A lot of times if you just wash and dry it a time or two, that will get rid of all those fluffies that are coming off of it.

If that solution doesn't work for you, take it outside and shake the heck out of it, maybe even beat it with a broom, like you would a rug.

I had a bath robe like that. Loved the robe, hated the shedding. I threw it away. I hated the shedding more than I loved the robe. 2D

I find Duck Tape helpful.
