Remember that Kobe said that he idolized Magic Johnson so much that when Magic first retired (remember he came back in 1996 for the Lakers and re-retired after being ousted by Houston) he terrribly cried the anouncement, Lebron on the otherhand was a Jordan fanatic. Of the two Kobe seem to emulate MJ more and Lebron Magic which brings us back to this question: Who is better at emulating their basketball idols, Kobe or Lebron? Support your answers and I'll give 10 points.

Kobe doesn't emulate Magic AT ALL - Magic made every player around him better and was proud to be a Laker and never showed up the Laker management - Magic was all class (even though he was a womanizer but so was Michael Jordan). Kobe is a cry baby ball hog - a true team mate would never have ran Shaq out of town - he should know that he had the best chance of winning rings with Shaq in a Laker uniform - Lebron really reminds me more of Magic and Kobe reminds me more of Michel just from the stand point of their style of offense and what makes them special - Lebron has some explosiveness and is very exciting to watch but he will never be MJ - MJ isn't even MJ anymore - I like Lebron but he has to have a little bit better supporting cast since he is a drive and dish type of guard - Kobe has to realize that he is not going to win a ring all by himself and should try to help the Lakers form a solid team instead of bad mouthing everyone and making things worse

I beleive that Kobe idolized Jordan more but was a Lakers fan first because of his age so he probably idolized Magic first but then so Jordan's game and modeled his game more after him. Which worked out because he has a similar body type. I think Kobe sort of idolizes Jordan and sort of wants to out do him.
