Gas up the car either early in the morning or in the evening. During the heat of the day, the gas will expand and you end up getting less gas for your dollar.
Forget fancy vinyl floor cleaners. Vinegar and hot water does the trick.
Buy in bulk. You get more for your dollar.
Coupons are cool. They're not just for little old grannies.
Go green with your lighting. Get fluorescent bulbs. They give more light and last longer than the other kind.
Don't be scared of thrift stores. Look around. Lots of the stuff looks new.
Don't go cheap on pet foods. In the long run, your pets will be healthier because they're better nourished. You'll save on vet bills.
Hang your laundry to dry when you can. It will save on your energy bill and your clothes will last longer.
Don't buy expensive window cleansers. One part ammonia, ten parts water, and two drops of blue food coloring makes a great cleanser.

Bringing water and snacks in is a competent theory. while you're bringing particularly some heavy products, think of approximately renting a locker on the front of the park. the money stored with the aid of no longer paying Disney fees for 2 bottles of water could conceal the locker apartment and save your back from all the lugging. in case you would be ingesting any take a seat meals, think of approximately previous due lunches particularly of dinners. The lunch menus at particularly some the eating places are very akin to the dinner menus, yet value much less. This additionally is going for buffets. I even have additionally had greater luck with getting seats for previous due lunches whilst i don't have a reservation. stable luck saving and luxuriate on your trip.

- Get on a budget. Write out all of your expenses, and compare them to your take-home pay. If your expenses are higher, then you need to cut something.
- Stop eating out or ordering take-out. It's MUCH cheaper to cook your own meals.
- Make a list when going to the grocery store, and stick to it.
- Buy generic products. They are just as good as the brand name.
- Cut your cable bill to a minimum.
- For phone service, shop around. There are some really cheap internet providers for phone service that offer unlimited long distance.
- Take your lunch to work.

I see you have quite a few already but here are a few more good ones -

Travel - We like to have guests in our home that are either our friends or are friends of our friends. They come from all over to stay and we entertain them, cook at home and take them to local sights on the weekends. In return, they agree to do the same for us and our friends. In this way we have been able to travel all over (even outside the country) for much less than if we stayed in hotels and ate out every night. We get to experience real local food and local sights. It save us a bunch of money.

Gifts - Look for special items all year long so you don't go into debt at Christmas. Also, gifts you make are often more appreciated, and this includes taking pictures. One year I got a great shot of my friend's son at the beach riding the waves. I had it made up as an 8X10 and then bought a nice (but inexpensive) frame, and gave it to her for Christmas.

Small items - Watch for unnecessary spending like fast food, coffee and Latte, etc. Make your coffee at home in the morning and take it to go. Do meal planning and avoid eating out (Pizza etc.) it adds up fast. Food cooked at home is often healthier anyway.

Entertain at home with friends rather than go out. It is less expensive than eating and drinking out.

own and drive used cars. Reader's Digest showed that this alone is worth over $1,000 a year [after taxes, too] to the typical family. And they showed that back in the early 1990's when cars were a bit cheaper.

Don't write a couple of deposits in your check book. So you'll have extra money in the bank and it keeps a budget with whats written in your check book. So if you put $100 in the bank, don't write that in your check book, it helps for extra cash.
