The yamaha yfm450 is awsome. I've had one for 2years now and hav'nt had a problem with it yet. It tops out around 75mph. The yamaha raptor 700 is cool to its one of the most powerful engines ever built and probably the fastest it is also very durable. the Honda 450ex.is durable and fast also. these are the best sport atvs

As far as durability goes, I would avoid Yamahas, everybody I know with a Yamaha has problems with them. I would recommend a Honda TRX450R (They have never called it the "450EX"). It is a powerful machine that is known to be reliable. Also, check out the Polaris Outlaw 525. KTM engines are the best new four strokes for both power and reliability. Normally I won't recommend a Polaris, but this one has a KTM engine. I want to get a new Can-Am DS450, but they are too new to determine if they are reliable.

Any of the YFM, YFZ, YFS Yamaha 4 wheelers are great. There a lot cheaper on parts and parts are normally avail within 24 hours for them. Suzuki, kwaka and honda parts are expenisive and sometimes take longer that 3 - 4 days.
They choice is really yours though...... But check out the various prices on servicable items.... this may influence your choice.

Yamaha YFZ 450 all the way, but do not run out of gas while popping a wheelie, it wouldn't be pretty
