You and your baby will be fine.

These kinds of things doctors tell you to eat in moderation. They are things that may contain bacteria or other such things that your baby's lack of immune system might not be able to handle. It's a precaution. Not every piece of bleu cheese or deli meat is going to give your baby something. And... I haven't heard anything bad about mayo actually... besides the normal it's horrible for you thing, but I've eaten it on sandwiches constantly. Anyway... good luck and try not to stress yourself out too much.

I'm sure you and baby will be just fine. When I had my daughter who is now 16 I ate tons of Tuna because it was high in protein, back then they didn't say limit the tuna you eat while pregnant. I also ate brie wich is a soft cheese and I am pregnant now and still eat Mayo and lunch meat. I have had 2 kids and I am on number 3. All are fine.

i must have been reading the wrong books because before i got on here i'd never heard of pregnant women eating deli meats and mayo and stuff and it being a bad thing. I ate all that stuff with all three of my kids not knowing the harm it apparently causes and all three of my kids are fine.

commercial mayo(like Kraft) is safe as long as its refrigerated, most soft cheese are pasturised and deli meats can be safe if heated first. thwe risk with certain deli items is a bacteria. Just avoid soft cheeses and deli meats from now on and baby will be fine. if you develop any signs of intestinal illness consult your doc.

huh? what are you talking about? You absolutely did not hurt your baby! If anything you made it stronger and healthier! There is a lot of protien in those foods and protien helps a baby grow healthy and strong. Don't thing for a second you hurt your unborn baby!!! Just don't drink alcohol or take medicine or inhale bad fumes!!!! Take this time to eat pretty much what you want!

You have done nothing that will hurt your baby. Keep in mind that many women don't know they're pregnant at five weeks, so they eat all kinds of things and have healthy babies. Talk with your doctor to see what types of nutrients and how much of each you need during your pregnancy. She will probably also recommend prenatal vitamins. Good luck with your pregnancy!

just start over. take some prenatal vitamins (ask the doc if you dont know about it yet) and drink lots of water. eat veggies and fruit as much as possible. dont "eat for two". its not even the size of a grapefruit yet! not an adult. eat one extra serving of protein a day. just do the whole balanced diet thing.
the best thing to do is talk to your doctor he or she knows best!
oh, and exercise. not hardcore but it is important if you want to get the baby fat off when all is said and done.
congrats! my sister is about 5 months. YAY!

You aren't supposed to eat this stuff?
Your baby will be fine. I ate that stuff all through my pregnancy, and my daughter is fine.
I never even heard of this stuff being bad. It mustn't be too bad.

Relax! Your little one is just fine :)

don't beat yourself up! 99% of women do something unhealthy before they realise they are pregnant, either dinking, smoking, drugs, eat unsafe foods ect. Your baby will be fine, trust me!!!
