Book smarts is good to have but street smarts are always better as that is what can save your life....

In my opinion it is good to have both. Book smarts will educate you on many things street smarts won't, it will also give you different perspectives than a single minded view point. Street smarts will help keep you outta trouble when you make silly choices by not having book smarts. :)
