Temperature is a measure of average knetic energy. For example, all gases at a given temperature have the same amount of average kinetic energy. Since they have different molecular sizes, the smaller ones will move faster than the larger ones.

the higher the temp the more energy there is to be consumed by the object producing the energy out put
