im kinda still a young teenager and going. i dont want to be hurt or anything. is it that bad? what if my dad went?

I think that is a great idea that your dad goes with you.
You can have Dad and Daughter time together and something to reminisce about when you get older.
Plus you will have your dad there to make sure you are safe.
