The Mets are not going to win the world series. All the division leading teams in the A.L. are so much stronger than the Mets plus the Mets have a very testy pitching staff that could cause problems later in the season. The Red Sox will win it.

If they can get to the world series they would have a very good chance against any American League team. There is a lot of parody in the National League and I believe it will be much more difficult defeating the other playoff teams in the National League to get to the world series. With that being said, I have said from the beginning of the season that I thought it would be the Angles and Mets in the world series with the Angles winning, and I will stick with those picks.

I've been saying the Red Sox and Mets would play in the World Series this year, but know that I've seen the Dodgers play the Mets, it's going to be:

You have got to be realistic, in the Al they would not even make the play-off! A team in the NL( Cubs) will get hot and beat them in the play-offs, just like last year. They have too many holes!

No NL team will win the series...the mets don't have the pitching to win it all, and their bats are so inconsistent...plus the braves will win that division!!

They've got enough young talent to do it...problem is that people keep getting hurt. I'd give it 2-4 more years before they get it. But be real..could Reyes get any hotter?
