I have had to dodge many people talking on their cell phones and not paying attention on the road. The worst part about that is I drive a semi!

Yeah, that's why I don't do it. Whenever I see people on their cell phones while driving, I just look at them and think they don't even know how dangerous they are making the roads right now.

Let's face it, people are GOING to call you when you're driving, there's no way around it. In the 21st century, are you going to let yourself become a lousy driver just because you're holding something else in your hand? There is an almost Zen-like quality to learning how to multitask with a steering wheel in one hand and a phone in the other. You need to learn how to talk and stay attentative to the road at the same time.

The best thing to do is not to be a damn idiot and drive while on the phone. People tend to switch lanes unintentionally when they are having phone sex in the car or talking about what they are going to do that night.
