I have noticed a friend who works with me has this happen often and was wondering if this is common? Should I tell her? What can she do about it?

yes. i do and so do all my friends. its normal. as you tlak it moves to the side every 15 minutes you should wipe the sides off.

Not after using lip gloss (perhaps she's using too much or a really cheap brand), but sometimes I find some there. It's no big deal unless it's a pretty large amount
