Do different cell phone brands use different chargers or are there ones that work for any brand?

no I'm afraid not,there is no such thing as a universal charger for phones the closest thing I have ever seen for that is @ target they sell a charger that you can change the tips on so you can go from a nextell to a Motorola just by switching tips other than that theres nothing.
