Hopefully if you have a true love,they're also your true friend.
I do have friends that have been friends most of my life while men have come and gone, if that's what you mean.

Both should be long lasting. How can you ever walk away from your true love and a true friends is really precious to us. But, nobody should take love or friendship for granted. You might end up loosing them if you are not caring enough for them.

I have a female friend who I've known for over 13 years now, we've helped each other ENORMOUSLY esp. during the last 5 years.
She's the one that made me realize that actually it IS POSSIBLE to have a close female friend without thinking of sex.
Yep, it's extremely rare lol, but it's possible.
