Hi all, I'm 29 weeks pregnant and for the past couple of weeks, I'm having a nagging pain just under my ribs on the right side, usually when I sit down for a while. It doesn't bother me too much when I'm standing or moving around. I'm going to ask my doctor about it when I go Thursday, but I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem and had some advice on what it might be. The thought of gallstones or worse has got me scared. Thanks!

Its probably just the baby beatin ya up :o) I would definitely mention it to your doctor though, because apparently that is a symptom of preeclampsia. My last pregnancy, I got preeclampsia with no symptoms at all around 36 weeks...but this pregnancy thats one of the things that they are constantly asking me (along with other symptoms), if I have a pain under my right breast or my upper abdomen on the right side. Are you having any other symptoms, like swollen hands/feet, blurry vision, etc? If so, call your doctor ASAP! Good luck! :o)

I always have the nagging pain in my right side and do you want to know what it's from?

It's my little girls foot right there always stuck in my rib! She's been in this position for around 8 weeks now and to tell you
the truth it's pretty annoying....but it's what we sign up for when we get pregnant we sacrifice our bodies for our little ones. :)

Sure, it could be many matters. Should you the place having a miscarriage it would now not consider like cramps. It might consider like your stomach was being became inside of out. The place it is hard to breathe and the whole thing. I consider if your no longer experiencing that then your fine. Besides it wouldn't be above your belly button. It could be below it.

chances are the baby got stuck in a rib while you weren't moving and then when you started moving the baby got unstuck. It used to happen to me all the time with all of my kids and usually when I was sleeping...lol (or, well, trying to sleep)

its probably just the baby kicking or punching up in that area. once he/she repositions itself it may stop.
i had this with my last pregnancy and i hated it i would litteraly push on the baby to get her to move to a different position. might wanna try it, i was able to get her to move sometimes and it helped
