You need a bigger hard drive. With only 363 Mb left, you probably do not even have enough for a "swap file", that is, space on the hard drive that Windows uses when it doesn't have enough RAM. That may explain your "memory problems,"
Your best bet is to purchase a new hard drive. A 40Gb hard drive can be had for less than 30 dollars in some places, And you would have a lot more room for movies, games, pictures, etc.

For Windows to operate properly, it needs at least 1 GIG (1024 mb) of free hard drive space. This is needed for temporary files and a swap file that Windows needs to run. With only 363 mb free you are going to get all kinds of errors.
You need to free up space on hard drive by moving some of your data (music, pictures, videos, etc) off the hard drive and on to CD or DVD. Also uninstall any program that you can live without.

Hurry and download this. It will fix your problem. If it doesn't, you have a virus.

Also, if you have a CD burner, burn all your photos and documents to a CD or DVD then delete them. This will free up space on your computer. The program I gave you a link to will let you know what is hogging all your memory. You may need to uninstall some programs that you don't use. Your computer will run much faster after you use that utility. I gaurantee it! I've received best answer for providing this as an answer.

The memory you listed is your drive space - and it's getting tight - less than 5% free.
But that's the "D" drive, not the C drive.
As to your problem - you stated what you think is wrong, rather than providing the error message or the actual problem.
I would try a reboot first, then update the drivers of the CD.

The D:\ drive on brand computers is a partiton of C:\ drive . C:\ drive is where windows should be loaded and D:\ drive is where your computer manufacturer installed an image of Windows so that you can recover your Windows by pressing F10 at the boot up screen. If this is the case, you should not be putting data on D:\ drive. Filling up this drive with data may corrupt your recovery image, and has nothing to do with your memory.
If you are running two Operating systems by dual booting, Then D:\ drive has a different OS on it plus data. Filling up this drive has nothing to do with your memory.
or D:\ drive is your slave drive with no OS on it and it also, has nothing to do with your computers memory.

Memory and Harddrive space are two different things.
You stating that your Hard drive is (d:) is full .. OK.. your also stating that you cant play discs. those two things dont go together.
Your hard drive is full or very close.
Your cd drive may need to be cleaned. a lil dust on the laser makes it crazy.
Good luck

I am not sure if it is corrupted or not, but you can go to an electronics store and buy more hard drive space and install it, assuming your motherboard can support it.

you're prolly running out of either virtual memory pagefile space... or just temp space that windows uses to cache data as it plays discs...
...empty out that hard drive...
