Americans: would you rather die for your country, or move to Canada?

Well how to answer? I am running scenarios through my head as to how it could ever come down to just these two choices and find it impossible, lol. The only situation I can imagine that has a remote chance of getting me to move to any other country would be if Hilary gets elected, in which case, we are all up the creek without a paddle anyways and Canada would be wise to lock it's borders against any country with enough people so insane as to let that happen!!!! So, yes, I guess, if necessary, I would die for my fellow countrymen rather than tuck tail between yellow legs and scootch out on everyone who would be counting on me!!

I'm not an American, but as a Canadian I can say, please don't. We get enough of your murderers and rapists escaping to Canada just to avoid prison time and the death sentence. We don't need nor want you, thank you very much.

We have payed a high price for Americans thinking Canada is some kind of free park they can litter in. I really don't think moving to Canada is the alternative of avoiding the military.

Instead of dying for your country, or merely running away, why not fight for your country to change policies on war?

I am a proud American and I would gladly die for my country. Its kinda back stabbing to say that you would move to Canada when so many of our friends, family members and so many good people are dying for our freedom. Then, when its over all these traders will come back from where ever they were hiding and want to live here again. The people that say move to Canada should be hung like the traders that they are.

America is slowly merging into that one world government organization. America has open unsecure borders. America deals with middle eastern countires that it cannot even trust. All this doesnt make since to yall now but given time it will. Then If you believe like I do then you would probobly start believeing what revelation says.

Well now i wouldn't want to die for my country. Its odd that people weigh matters like this so heavily, when there are such better things we can do with our lives. There are always other countries, other religions, and other borders but there will never be other humans. Even our enemies are credible human beings.

If we keep killing each other or ourselves what will we have.

Die for your country. What a ridiculous notion. Die for a piece of land, a few drops of crude oil, how ridiculous this species is. To die or kill for a few words written on a piece of paper. To die or kill for a few words spoken by delusions (religion). To kill or die because two people cannot agree to disagree and go their separate ways.

Today American soldiers fight for corporate America's global interests (Whether they know it or not.). Also, there will never be a draft again because unwilling soldiers, on the most part, will not fight or take orders.

I like what Guru said. I love my country but killing or dying 'for your country' is ridiculous. You Americans are willing to kill people (including yourselves) for freedom but so unwilling to exercise it.

I'd only fight for my country if my country was invaded. I'd also only fight if the invasion wasn't warranted (if we nuked all of Russia, you couldn't be suprised that half the world shows up at your door)
