Put the piece of clothing in your freezer - yes, your freezer, for about 20 minutes. Then take it out and the gum should come off in one clump.

Put the clothes in the freezer until the gum becomes brittle and it should just snap off.

I just had to do this last week. Place it in the freezer for a couple of hours. Chip off the huge pieces and the residue will come off in the wash...in hot water.

Use peanut butter-the oil in it starts to break down the gum. It works great in the hair.

You take as much off with your fingers that is safe and then apply Lystoil and that will melt it out.
