I figure the man should give her a budget, tell her certain models that are unreliable and let her pick from within those guidelines.

Think you already asked this one a few months ago.

Don't couples ever do anything TOGETHER in your world Sandy?

Don't they ever shop together and pore over catalogues together and actually discuss what will work for THEIR family... TOGETHER?

Why should just one or another do only certain things? Heck yes he might earn the money but she is going to pay him back by washing his clothes... so it is a MUTUAL decision. They do it together. That is how we always did it. MUTUAL researching... then an agreed upon decision.

You really do have to get past your control issues kiddo.

If we talking about appliances like that, dishwasher and all, I think it should a be a 'team buy'. Because these are big thing, I mean, they would both know best with things like this. These are going into THEIR house, these things are going to cost THEM money, and it's just better for them both to be there. Other wise it seems pretty cruel for the male to make up all these limits but not even go with the female to make the buy

I think if a couple is picking out appliances, or anything that's a major purchase, they should mutually discuss how much they want to budget, what they are looking for, and both should do the research as to best quality, best reviews, etc. before going to the store and mutually deciding on which brand, model and color to buy.

I think the women should pick out all the appliances in the house, since she is the one that uses them the most and should get ones that she likes and has used before.

They should go together to look at what is available.
If the man wants to haggle the price, fine. If either of them want to check with Consumer Reports or other testing
sites, fine. Joint decision. We recently bought new kitchen
appliances. Took 2 trips, one to scout what's out there, then
we discussed what we wanted at home, then we went to one store and ordered 4 items. Husband was interested in performance, I was interested in style and color. We were both happy after the purchase was made. win/win!

Yes Mr. Sandstorm I do feel that the wife should be able to pick out the appliances for the home because it will be mostly her that will be using it. So why not let her pick out something that she'll enjoy using?

in spite of drugs you're addicted to particular have screwed up your skill to apply good judgment and reason. No respectable God fearing guy or woman could be forced via anybody to stay with a guy or woman who can not cope with existence with out suggestions from recommendations changing drugs - that consists of that demon interior the bottle - alcohol. once you took an oath to love and HONOR your spouse, FORSAKE all others, did you no longer rapidly think of that in simple terms meant on your recommendations?? YOU, honor the medicine better than her - and this under no circumstances exhibits ANY honor in the direction of her. GOD does not "tell" any human on earth what to do. GOD does not condemn anybody to stay in circumstances that are volatile - that consists of marriage. What - you're extra important then your spouse? She could be forced to submit alongside with your somewhat damaging options, which via ways, I assure God does not condone???? all of us have "unfastened will" - you nevertheless choose for undesirable issues that create great strife on your marriage - she has chosen to push that far off from her existence. The "enemy" right here, is the medicine. I total heatedly applaud your spouse for status up for what's suitable and leaving you. possibly in a 12 months or 2, when you have been sparkling for that long, you 2 can see one yet another back - - for now, enable her pass and get your self back collectively right here interior the actual worldwide.

Oh my love. . . .you just go ahead and pick it out for me. As long as they work just anything will be fine with me. . . .better yet, I don't even need a washer because I will take your clothes to the river and wash them on a stone and hang them out on the line to dry. Of course I cannot hang my unmentionables out on the line for all the world to see so I must hang them in the bathroom to dry which takes a bit longer but I don't want you to waste your hard earned money just so I won't have to be inconvenienced.
