Are you happy or not with your Dyson vacuum ? Why?

I LOVE my Dyson! I have the DC17 Animal, I've had it since March and am continually amazed at how well it performs. I have 3 cats, and it sucks up the cat hair and litter they track through the house like its nothing. My carpets have not looked this great in years. I had a mud stain that my son tracked in the house. It had been there for a year and wouldn't come up even when I cleaned the carpets--the Dyson sucked it right up like it had never been there. It's also lighter than my previous vacuums, so its easier for me to carry upstairs. And it's not as loud as my previous vacuums. I have to add, I've had 3 other vacuums over the last 12 yrs--2 Dirt Devils and 1 Hoover-- and all 3 clogged up very easily. The Dyson has not clogged yet and I have really put it to the test. I would recommend a Dyson to anyone, especially if you have pets!

I also LOVE my Dyson DC-17 Animal. I bought the animal because it came with more attachments, at the time I bought it. I love it because.....1) NEVER loses suction like my old kirby gen 3, 2) No bags--simply take canister, hold over trash bag, push button, and it empties out the bottom, 3)my hose is the handle, release, pull out the metal extension, and I can reach up to clean anything above me (I'm short, and hate to climb). When I first got my dyson, I vacuumed with the kirby, then with the dyson--I was embarassed at how much the dyson picked up after the kirby!!!! In my opinion, no money wasted on the Dyson!!!!

My sister and brother in law bought one several months ago and she has had A LOT less problems with her asthma because it gets a lot of crud out of her carpets and furniture.
