No but I can see why you'd say that. He draws a lot of attention to himself and probably gets more air time than he deserves but he backs up what he says. He's one of the best in the game

Chad Johnson is a goof who doesn't disrespect his teammates or coaches. No way he puts up very good numbers every year. He might have a big mouth but, he backs it up with his play on the field unlike TO who talks a lot, disrespects, his teammates and coaches. He dropped a lot of passes he should of caught last year and he is the most overrated WR.

I don't think he's overrated in real games, but he's overrated in fantasy leagues. Johnson's a consistent WR, but he's not the #1 WR to take in fantasy leagues. He's good for 90 catches, over 1000 yards, and 8 TDs or so every year. In fantasy leagues, other WRs such as Steve Smith and Terrell Owens have more value, though Johnson is better than Owens in real life.

Chad Johnson is not the best WR in the NFL, but he's an elite WR.

There are much better examples of overrated WRs. Alot of people still think that Randy Moss is an elite WR and blame his QBs and his coaches and everybody else but Randy Moss for his poor play the last 3 years. Daunte Culpepper's best year was the year where he barely even threw the ball to Moss. Oakland's passing game went south after they brought Moss in. Moss and his partner-in-crime Porter got Art Shell fired last year by refusing to play (Shell actually did a much better job than everybody gives him credit for; it wasn't his fault that Oakland hired him so late that no competent offensive coordinators were left or that his WRs refused to play). Another overrated WR is Calvin Johnson. Many people claim he's one of the best receivers in the league already, even though nobody knows for sure whether he's even going to do anything in the NFL. He was drafted by a team known for poor drafting (they've drafted 3 WRs in the 4 previous 1st rounds and 2 out of 3 were busts; Detroit has no o-line, no RB, and no QB). Calvin Johnson might end up a bust. He might end up a decent WR. He might even end up a star. However, he probably won't be the second coming of Jerry Rice, as so many claim he will. Look at Reggie Bush who got similarly ridiculous hype last year. Bush wasn't even the best speed RB in his draft class. Maurice Jones-Drew proved himself to be a better player last year and I think Joseph Addai and Laurence Maroney were clearly the best rookie RBs.

Chad Johnson definitely isn't overrated, unless the claim is made that he's the best WR in the league. He's a legitimate elite WR. He's not the best in the league, nor is he some average WR.

I cannot stand Chad Johnson and despise his BS antics but i cannot in any sense say he is overrated. Overpublicized yes, overrated no. He is quick, has great hands and runs excellent routes.

He's one of the best in the league. He's had at least 1,100 yards every year since '02. From '03 to '05, he had at least 90 receptions. And even though he didn't get 90 last year, 87 isn't bad either. No, he's awesome.

No he might be the best in the game if you look at the stats over the last couple of years the only player with better stats might be Marvin Harrison

he's unquestionably no longer puffed up! he's on my fantasy group and has executed outstanding. T.J. Houshmanzadeh is sweet, yet no extra beneficial than Chad Johnson. perhaps he hasn't been good against the Steelers, yet he's great against different communities. he's unquestionably no longer puffed up!

No, because he has a deteriorating offensive line, and is one of those rare players that talks too much, but can back it up over many seasons.
