Take your bin outside and clean it real good. While it is outside spray the area inside with a good pesticide. You may have to spray the entire house. Leave the house for a couple hours. When you get back open all windows and doors so the house will air out. After this you should be able to use a deodorizer and be okay. Leave the bin outside while gone and spray it before bring back in. Clean with bleach.

this may sound weird but it work,s......get a large saucer type bowl......put petroleum jelly around the rim.....fill the bowl [to the jelly] with beer.....they love it....will land on the jelly & get stuck....or drown in the beer....you,ll be amazed how many you,ll catch.......good luck!...............by the way....keep it warm..they can get off of cold jelly.
