Is it really true that when a couple have a child, the guy loses interest in sex? I need some true opinion from the expert to why this is true. Thank you!!

No, women do. Once a baby arrives most women feel extremely involved in every aspect of the new one's care. Breast feeding can be a tiring routine, and if the guy doesn't help out with diapers and cleaning, it can cause resentment.
Also many women get depressed after giving birth, and many still feel unattractive. Many guys experience some degree of jealousy of the infant - at first it was all about us, now it's about the kid. Some women don't return to an active sex life until a year or two after giving birth. This is a long time for a guy to wait.

Sex changes true when a child comes into the picture because 1. the parents are taking care of another life and it's a lot of responsibility. 2. a man will tend to look at his wife as a mother figure now instead of the sexual partner he knew before. 3. once you finally get that baby to sleep you usually just want to sleep yourself...sad but true.

It is true, but it's not just the guy! The woman is so fatigued from taking care of her responsibilites. Oftentimes she expects the man to pitch in with the chores and diapers when he gets home from a long day at work, so he is tired too. We all need to satisfy our biological instincts first (sleep and caring for our offspring) before we can take care of our wants (an orgasm). That and the guy gets tired of his wife saying "no, I'm too tired" so after awhile he just stops asking :)

Well they have to look after the child, so responsibility really falls onto the parents. Males tend to lose interest in sex after they have had sex.....and then they sort of re-charge and well yeah.

It happens due to the loss of having complete control of his environment from outside influences (aka..extra mental and physical stress)
