My boyfriend is leaving tomorrow for California to see his family for two weeks, so if I could I'd like to go with him for one week and then come home for the other week or something like that. But I have obligations here at home that I'm tied to.
But when he goes at Christmastime I'm going. I'll stay here with my family for Christmas, then I'll leave after and stay with him for a week.

Definitely somewhere in the U.S. because this is the best place in the world...II've been to almost every country and was born outside the U.S.
It really depends on what you like. Are you a sightsee-er, a sun worshiper, a shopper, a golfer, other? Try to find a place that includes the activities that you enjoy most with the weather that is most conducive to that. Enjoy.
