they both rock,but I strongley feel LED ZEPPELIN would blow doors over blackSabbath,chew them up and spit out there bones its be proven in music polls since 1969,Led Zeppelin has more facets to them they can play some balls out heavy rock'nroll or they can do very pastoral thought provoking,sweet ballets with the prettiest guitar and robert singing like a viking god who speaks in ethereal poetry,there are definitly tapped into a higher source Cheers Lar

Zeppelin in a landslide. Sabbath had some great songs, but Zeppelin changed the rock universe with the stuff they pulled off.

firstly - it's a silly question
Zepplid or sabbath?
Metalica or megadeath?
Sepultura or Soulfly?
In flames or Soilwork?
Coal Chamber or Devildriver?
Pentera or Damage Plan?
It's totally a matter of personal taste, both bands are let accompished with thoasand of fans willing to argue the point, who cares who thinks who is better it's all about what you like,
If you threw the same question on myspace and replaced sabbath with my chemical romance, you'd most likely get an overwhelming response for the latter, even tho they are a pack of freakin emo losers, but people like that (for some unknown freakin reason) these days...
There is no actual resolution to this question....
Secondly - I gotta go with zepplin ;-)
