my new pussycat is constantly scratching herself and she doesn't have flee's,what could it be? Thanks :)

i got her a month ago and she just started this yesterday, no fleas, looks normal other that all the scratching to her back she does, and everything looks fine to the nake eye, guess i'll call the vet tomorrow. THANKS FOR ALL YOUR ANSWERS :) EVEN THE FUNNY NON RELATED ONES!

Its Definatly Dry Skin!
Olive Oil In Food!
Or Just Take Her To The Vets!
Same Happened With My Cat We Just Gave Her Ians Dry Food For Agees And Her Skin Went Perfect :)

That's crazy. Scratching herself where? Her head? Maybe she's just thinking hard, and the brain waves radiate through her skull up to her fur roots. I think it's called telekinosis, a rare form of non-lethal feline disease that normally occurs in South American jungle cats. The individual pieces of fur that are affected should be turning white. You should start pulling them out, kinda like I'm pulling your leg right now. ha ha haaa

My Dog is isching alot so i took her to the vet she checked for fleas but found none so she said the summer heat was giving her dry skin

I just took my dog to the vet for this, it was allergies. They gave her a cortizone shot.
