Try this site, this product is wonderful. Also, I've almost lactated for the last 10 years straight (we have 4 kiddos under 9) and whenever someone (in our household of kids and my hubby only of course!) had "goopy" eyes, I expressed some breastmilk into a sterilized cup and used that as an eye wash. A miracle. When the baby had red eyes, I would just express right in his or her eyes then wipe it with a clean tissue. Warm, sterile and soothing. Doesn't get much better than that.

try the eyedrops from the other answer but if that doesn't work and you don't have insurance to see a doctor the basic stuff that they will give you is terramyicin ointment which is available at prettymuch any local feed store the same as what is used for dogs and cats and other livestock, only a couple bucks cheaper at the feed store and no script needed where if you go the drugstore you need a script and its 20 something a tube instead of 12,,, it's also prescribed when you get a scratch on the eye, my brother found that out a while back, its a little yellow tube, if there is no feed store close to your house you can get it online through 1800petmeds, or valleyvet.com good luck and remember it is contagous so wear sunglasses and don't wipe your eyes and touch anything always use a tissue and wash well, thats how cattle have such bad outbreaks is from the flys spreading it over the entire herd.

Cooled boiled water with salt dissolved in it is the best remedy for pink eye. Wet cotton balls in the solution and wipe the outside of the eye clean. Then squeeze drops from a clean cotton ball into the eye and gently wipe up the drips.

One cotton ball or cotton pad per wipe so you do not reinfect with a dirty pad.

If the eye is inflamed resting a chamomile teabag that has been tangled in boiling water, on the closed eye will help soothe it.

Clean all doorknobs, light switches with a bleach/ water mix.
If you must itch your eyes use a tissue as a barrier and wash your hands alot all day, especially if you touch your face or eyes. You can use artificial tears, as long as you do not let any part of the bottle touch any part of your eyes, and if it does THROW IT AWAY.
Pink eye will almost always go away on its own, as long as that is what it is.

To relieve discomfort of pink eye [or conjunctivitis], apply a warm compress to the affected eye three to four times a day for five to ten minutes. Preservative-free artificial tears will also relieve discomfort.

Hope your eye gets better soon. :]

My eye doctor told me just to use Refresh eye drops from the drugstore - they're all natural - I think just distilled water with saline. My eye got better in a couple of days.

If it persists for a few days you might need a prescribed antibiotic ointment or drops.

If you have pinkeye, you need to go to the doctor and get antibiotic drops. You don't want to mess with your eyes.
