The animation called life on earth and almost certainly throughout the universe is to me a great mystery.

The existence of the universe, its infinite reality, the countless galaxies and stars, and the real possibly of infinite multiple universes in other dimensions theorized by high math.

The human mind. Evolving rapidly and capable of almost unbelievable abilities.

There is a start on some very tough questions of how did it all happen?

The strangest phenonemae would have to be the hits taken by comets/meteorites/space junk on the earths crust. If we check out any other planet we see their surface is covered like a swiss cheese - though no investigation has been done into locating the hit - humans look at a gap and its just a gap - there is no further digging/investigation as to where the earth had been hit. Surely there should be something in the soil if not in the crater near by ?? Bounce effect - or has the earth engulfed a huge rock and no-one wants to know.
Human stupidity is still a classical tale to tell.

I think the most unbelievable mystery on Earth would be the Pyramid of Giza. Our ability to make something like that NOW is hard to picture even with our tools, let alone what, 4000 years ago????

The perfection of the Tasmanian titmouse. :-)

Seriously, though - the most unbelievable mystery to me is that we can't use our will or our imaginations to make things manifest in the physical world. The universe came from nothing, it requires no energy to create anything - just pull opposite charges out of the void and send them spinning in different trajectories to keep them from canceling each other out. So simple that Nothing could do it, so why can't We?

(I give you MAJOR power crystal points if you can parse that) ;-)

The question that many ask which is.....

"If a tree falls over in the woods and there was no one there to hear it, would it make a noise?"

Not one person has been able to answer this and there have been many debates on this very question. What do y'all think?

Also why are we the only planet that spawned intelligent life?
Well in some cases. There are few 'people' out there who have no intelligence whatsoever!!!
