im not racist against anyone. but why can't we be called caucasion? i just don't think the name white or black is proper.

I totally agree with you. I think society is so used to having to categorize everything and it's so sad that a society so "advanced" labels humans by colors. Also there has been several studies that state that the color categorizing and naming ethnicities to certain health problems is more of a business plan for pharmaceuticals! You should look into it it's very interesting.

We all deserve to be respected, the problem is that where on person prefers Caucasian, another White, someone else wants to be called African-American and then another Black. It becomes tiring after a while we can never get it right or satisfy anyone. I give up, just let me ask your name and I'll call you that...

certainly i truely agree but not tottaly. no one is the color white or black. then most of the blacks here never ever went to africa. and what is a caucasion? where did that word even come from. i think they should just put all race aside and say americans. because after all we are americans if we were born here. they shouldnt be trying to brand us. if we go to another country we wont be called black or caucasion we'll simply be called americans.

why can't people except some races are more prone to health problems. They based this off of facts not racist opinion. Alot of people just think we should accept everyone as the same, which can be good and bad at the same time.

Well what do you want black people to be called? Calling them African American isn't accurate because a lot of them are not african. My sister is Mixed(black, italian, and spanish) but she mostly says she's black so she doesn't have to explain everything she is. She doesnt like to be called african american though because she is not african.

I am caucasian, my family is from South Africa, so I guess that would make me an "african american" too. Silly to label people in such a manner. I know, how about "melatonin rich" or "melatonin poor" americans?

So you call us caucasian, what do you call the blacks, mexicans, italians and whatever. I don't find it offensive being called white, that is my skin color. I am not brown, black, pink, or yellow.
