Yes I like him and I agree with him for the most part, except for the amnesty for illegals.

Alex:
You should check some facts before you bad mouth someone's personal energy policy. The snopes.com article is a direct comparison between Bres. Bush's home in Crawford and Al Gore' home in Tenn.
I like the man, don't always agree with everything he does. I agree with the war in Afghanistan and in Iraq. Do I think there have been mistakes made in the running of the war? You bet, but I don't have all the intel to make better decisions either. I also don't think the Senate or the House has any business trying to run the war or any business saying that the war has been lost. I disagreed with no child left behind ( the biggest reason I disagree with it is Ted Kennedy wrote it). I disagreed with the recent immigration bill. I agreed with him on the tax cuts and think they should be made permanent. (How can a policy that has brought in more money to the treasury be wrong?) I disagreed with him on bringing Colin Powell to the State department, and I disagreed with him on keeping so many Clinton holdovers in his administration. I agree with the firing of the 8 U.S. Attornies (no one is talking about the fact that several Senator and Congressmen had written letters of complaint about some of these attornies to the justice department, Heck, I even agreed with Pres Clinton when he fired 92 of the 93 U.S. Attornies when he entered office. They serve at the pleasure of the President. They can be fired for any or no reason at all.)

GWB scared me before his first term in office, because he allows religion to influence his actions. Not only were my worst fears of him confirmed, but he has actually turned out to be even worse than I thought possible. I never would have thought that he would ignore the Constitution on so many fundamental issues. For the first time in my life, I am afraid of my own government. They are allowing a globalist agenda to override our most basic rights.

No. He has ignored the Constitution, acting as a law unto himself. He has ignored the Geneva Convention for the treatment of captured prisoners. He has effectively done away with Habeus Corpus, jeopardizing the rights of not only foreign nationals but American citizens. He has frittered away world-wide sympathy for the U.S. after 9/11 by unilaterally invading Iraq on pretexts that turned out to be lies. He is an emblem of smug, complacent, self-righteous stupidity. He has made the U.S. a laughing stock.

I don't trust politicians and George Bush is one. However he is the only president we have. If there is any question where my loyalty lies among the leaders of the world, I'll certainly stick with ol' George.

First, I would just like to note the humor that a person called "Nature Lover", is a fan of Bush. Perhaps she should review his stance on the environment. I don't personally know the guy, so I'm not sure if I would like him or not. I do not agree with many of his backward, short-sighted policies.

Yes, I truly respect any one who stands their ground, and don't waver to public opinion. Yes this administration did make mistakes, please tell me which administration never did. About 10-20 years from now and only then can the ramifications of this administration be properly evaluated. There is a reason why Bush was voted back in office by the largest voter turn out in the history of the US. It was not an aberration folks. We are not all that stupid.

no because:
1.He cheated his way into office by having his brother rig the election in Florida.
2.He refused to bring our troops home once we realized there were no WMD's.
3.He commuted scooter Libby's prison sentence.
4.He sent our troops to Iraq with faulty equipment.
5.He came up with the "No Child Left Behind" act that in reality leaves every child that fails test behind.
6.He corrupted our government.
7.He has severely hurt the republican party. thanks to him the country thinks we are evil.
8.He came up with an immigration bill that was just short of amnesty.
9.He wrote 2 plans for running the war in iraq that failed.
10.He ignores global warming.
11.He has caused a rise in terrorism with some of his pointless tactics in the middle east.
12.From what i have read he is a neo conservative which is like being communist.

He's corrupt, arrogant, ignores the U.S. Constitution, is aiming to bankrupt the U.S. the way he has bankrupted his 3 failed oil companies, and yet he thinks in his own stupidly smug way everything is about him.
