I agree that investigative journalism has gone the way of the Dodo bird!
It is all a tax write off! So why don't you complain when all your corporate buddies are doing the same? It doesn't make me happy to be footing trips oversees, box office seats, all the liquor and food you can eat and pawn it off on the taxpayer as a "cost of doing business"! That is pure BS!
I flew in a turbo-prop Mitsubishi MU-2 (company owned) to Hilton Head, SC to stay for a week in a Condo owned by same said corporation, all expenses paid! The irony is that it had nothing to do with business! You paid for it though! And while we are on that subject, why is it that corporations can own 750 BMW's, at taxpayers expense, that are given to people as their own personal vehicle! If a government worker was seen with a government vehicle parked at a store it would be in the newspaper the next day!
And that is not how they meant "free" press!

Not free, we tax payers foot the bill for most of those items.

Every job has its perks, what about all those beds we paid for while congress pulled that latest all nighter stunt...we paid for those 2.
