I think it's 'Reasoning', how about you?

Technically, emotion does not have an opposite. Emotion is a generic term to describe the way you feel. happiness, sadness, excited, bored....etc. The various emotions themselves would have opposites (like happiness, sadness)

I do agree however that the opposite of an emotional person could be a rational person.

I see where you are coming from in saying "Reasoning" to be the opposite of emotion. We either react emotionally, or act logically with reason in dealing with any given situation or problem. However, I feel that emotion and reason are not necessarily opposites. They are two ways in which we can choose to respond in any given situation. Stoic, on the other hand seems more fitting when dealing with the opposite of emotion. One who is seemingly indifferent to or unaffected by emotion i.e. joy, grief, pleasure, or pain is said to be stoic.

The opposite of emotion would be 'ennui'
Ennui means emotional weariness, or the inability to feel emotion. And that is the opposite of emotion.

That would be no passion, drive or will. If you mean to say that reasoning, or I would say thinking, is its opposite I would agree. Certainly it is less emotional and a little more logical.

Stoicism.
Stoicism teaches that self-control, fortitude and detachment from distracting emotions, sometimes interpreted as an indifference to pleasure or pain, allows one to become a clear thinker, level-headed and unbiased.
