I'd look inside for some ID. If there was none, then I'd turn it in. If there was ID i'd try to find them or call them (phone book). I would try to return it, but I've had circumstances where I could not find the owner.
If it was just loose money, then I'd take it. My brother once found a 20 dollar bill floating in the ocean. He also found 37 dollars lying on the floor of the after prom party

Be honest. I would return it no matter what. It's not right to keep someone money unless it's not inside the wallet. And even you use someone money you will feel guilty forever.

I know how it feels to lose my wallet, so I always return wallets or money I find.

I would look inside to look for money but I also would look for ID. If there is no ID I would keep the money.

actually i was looking thru an abandoned house that noone had been in, in about 2 years....and they left their wallet, i just left it though it had no money just a visa and his drivers license :) i think if it had money i would have taken it bcuz noone was apparently comin back for it :)

ive found a wallet before with credit cards, licens, insurence, money, like everything but me and my mom returned it... yes we are good ppl..lol he was an old man too.. and he was like almost in tears that we brought it back... and he was all like let me give you money .. and all we wanted to do was give it bak and leave ahhaha

i found plenty of wallets.. i take the money and put it in a mailbox.. i figure thats payment for putting there stuff safe from ppl who will steal there identy
