Surely you've read about (sorry - seen on the news?) the several groups that hate harry potter.
As for the second part: I have a friend that will not read a normal book, but loves to read the manuals of his electronics. I know another person that only reads cook books and craft books.
To each his own - but it is very hard to hate all "books in general."

I love books, but I am tired of hearing about Harry Potter.

Not me.

People who dont like it are people who are afraid to open their imaginations. Harry Potter is a wonderful series and has changed my life with many aspects.
I will never ever forget Harry himself and all him comrads.

Long live Harry Potter.

For the answer above me....Its okay to have an opinion such as you aren't keen on them....but you are full of #### when you say they lack in creativity. Whether people like them or not, they are very creative. It is a whole detailed world full of characters and original stories. Thats what creativity is.

I doubt that those who hate books and general would actually be in the Books & Authors section. (I wonder why...)
There are a few anti-HP people lurking around here, but I'm not one.

I'm not too keen on them. I don't find them entertaining. Infact, I find them to be lacking in creativity.
