There is NO best answer for mascara, eyeliner, blush, power, or foundation except what works for YOU at this time in your life. Besides color, you have to consider TEXTURE, how it feels when applied, how long it lasts, and how to take it off. Your skin reaction (if any) is important, and your eye reaction with eye makeup (if any) is critical. When products get discontinued or re-formulated, I have to start looking again, and this can be a chore. I wear darkest black mascara but went from Maybelline Dial-a-Lash to Revlon to Max Factor 2000 Calorie to L'Oreal Voluminous when I could no longer find my old brand. Since I wear waterproof mascara, I must remove it with an oily remover pad like Almay or Andrea. Eyeliner pencils don't work for me, so I use Revlon Colorstay liquid eyeliner. I use Revlon's powered blushes in the same color family as my lipstick, and I always match my lips and nails in classic red, burgundy, red-orange, or brownish-red, mostly by Revlon. Their founder invented the concept of matching lips and nails and is usually pretty good about keeping popular colors for long periods of time if they sell. Unfortunately, they slaughtered their eye shadow and brow line several times, so I now wear L'Oreal eye shadows and brow pencils. My foundation is Revlon Colorstay liquid set by Revlon loose powder at home and touched up by their Age-Defying pressed powder when out and about. Wear whatever colors you feel old enough, young enough or bold enough to wear, and don't concern yourself whether it is "in" or not if YOU like the results. DO consider the fact that as you age, your skin texture will change, and you may need to change the texture of some of your makeup products, even if you keep some of the same colors. Always cleanse and moisturize your face before getting dolled up. Experiment and have fun! Stick with what works for you but also try new colors, new forms of makeup application, new techniques, and switch brands as needed for YOUR look.

Mascara: Max Factor 2000 Calorie Waterproof in Black;
Best eyeliner: any dark eye shadow (try some applied wet) (eyeliner can often be too harsh unless you are wearing false eyelashes);
Blush: Aromaleigh Pure Rouge in Sable (mineral makeup), but I have also read many reviews that NARS blush in Orgasm is quite worthy.

Note: Aromaleigh mineral makeup can only be purchased online from Aromaleigh at www.aromaleigh.com. I consider this line to be the best mineral makeup out there.
