I know the answer is 6 -square root of 5 but I don't know how it was worked... Please help!!!

√(6)√(30) =

√(6)√(5×6) =

√(5×6×6) =

√(6×6)√(5) =

6√(5)

This is because we know for any quantities a and b:
√(a)√(b) = √(ab)

We run that rule both ways to simplify this problem.

√6 * √30 = √180

√(36 * 5) = √180

6√5 = √180
.

x = ( 6 * (30^.5)^.5)
x = ( 6 * 5.4772)^.5
x = (32.8634)^.5
x = 5.7326

= SQRT(180) = SQRT (36 X 5) = (6)(SQRT 5)
