Yes it does.
Like it or not, he was fighting against dictators. It does not matter if he was left or right wing, it matters that he was fighting for freedom from oppression.
I agree it is a pity that the dictatorship in Cuba was replaced with another one, but Batista was worse for the Cuba population than Castro has been.
I take your point about killing innocents, but Batista and the other dictators that Che Guevara fought against killed numerous innocents themselves. Far more in fact than Che Guevara did.
But one of the best examples of how one mans terrorist can be another mans freedom fighter were the Mujahideen (who became the Taliban) as well as the Resistance in World War II.

that makes two CIA executed South Americans that I have looked at today..
Guevara in 1967 by LBJ's CIA..
and in 1973 Chile's Allende..
by Nixonian CIA..who said it was a suicide
either way..it goes to show Chavez lives in a more decent world..or Bush's CIA would have wiped that scum off the face of the earth.
either way the primary commonality between the two is they are both dead socialists..

Terrorists are NOT freedom fighters. Period.
Freedom fighters do NOT indiscriminately target innocent civilians, they do NOT hide behind women and children and they do NOT have an agenda that even remotely resembles freedom for the masses.
