am feeding them only earthworms but i just got the sengal and its not eating it so am guessing it dosent like it so am trying to find something else for it

I feed beef heart to my dogs and get it from the local grocery store. There is usually that spot in the meat section where they have the "specialty meats" ie; kidney, hearts feet etc...

Beef heart really isn't as good for fish as a small fillet of fish. Fish contains the necessary protein sequences for other fish, mammals and birds lack the exact amino acids needed. If you still want the beef heart, you can get it from butchers. There will be butcher shops that are fairly easy to find in any big city. Check the Yellow Pages.

I've been looking for tht for my senegal bichir as well, but also some people don't know but you can feed it Super worms, butter worms, and other meal worms they love it, they swallow it whole.
For super worms it will be good advice to cut of the head first.
As for beef heart i never understood were to get it :(

Call all the groiery stores near you and one of them would be able to order it for you if they don't keep it in .
