I have two articles of clothing that I found stains on. One is a blood stain and the other I am not quite sure what it is...It could be anything from filthy greasy dirt or maybe something from fireworks that my grandbaby decided needed to be wiped on my nice whit pants! kids! lol...

Anyways I need to know the best, cheapest stain removal that works on most any type of clothing and stain please!

For the blood stain, use hydrogen peroxide. The peroxide works as a VERY mild bleach and will help lift the blood stain out of the clothing article. I've used peroxide to remove stains on a variety of fabrics and it's pretty much worked each time, provided the stain hasn't set in too long (e.g. already been washed and sent through the dryer).

With the white pants, try brake cleaner (not to be confused with brake fluid!!). Brake cleaner is very similar to dry cleaning fluid in chemical makeup. Beware though, you should wear gloves with this method. I used to date a mechanic, and learned this trick from him. Take an old toothbrush and make a laundry paste with your laundry detergent and a little water (that is, if you use powder - if you use liquid, just use the liquid full strength). Spray the stain with the brake cleaner and then gently work in the laundry paste/detergent in with the brush. Alternate the application of the brake cleaner and the laundry paste a few times, rinsing in between each application. You should see the stain begin to disappear. Send the item through a full wash cycle, and your greasy stain should be removed!

Got to love the kids! For the blood stain the best thing that I have found that works every time is peroxide and an ice cube. Fist put the peroxide on the stain then rub with and ice cube if you are able do this as soon as you can when the accident happens. For the greasy stain try dawn dish soap by pre treating the stain with the dawn dish soap.

There are so many cleaners, But my favorite to always keep in the house is :Vinegar , Bleach , Ammonia , Hydrogen Peroxide. Most of your stains can come out with these.
Blood....Hydrogen Peroxide
Whites ...Bleach if The label says you can use bleach.
Vinegar 1/2 cup to 2 cups of water (do not use this on any foam products. it is great for odors )full strength).

Rubbing alcohol 1/4 cup To 3/4th cup
it all depends on what you cleaning if you need more just adjust it 1alc to 2water
I hope this helps.
Dawn dish washing detergent has good Greece removing ability , you can add a squirt or two with any of the above.

I use detergent or bar soap with cold water on blood stains and rub the stained areas together in your hands. Then once it has faded to near nothing, put in a hot wash. If not blood do the same with hot water. Spray on SpraynWash and wash in a hot wash with similar colors or by itself on a low water level setting.

For blood you can use peroxide, rinse and then spray with your normal stain removal and wash. Becareful cause blood seems to smear everywhere and if you don't wash it right away after using peroxide it will be just as hard to remove and then be a bigger spot. That is why I recommend rinsing and scrubbing with soap after peroxide and immediately washing. I don't know about the other stuff.

Simple Green (from the automotive department) works wonders but I have never used it on anything white so watch out for that. Krud Kutter and Mean Green (paint department ) work really well and I have used those on linen and silk. Just spray it on both sides of the fabric and let it sit a day or two then wash as usual.

You could try using Thieves household cleaner to get that stuff out with. I know that it will take the blood out because I've used it on my clothes that had blood. You can check this product out online if you want at www.moldrx4u.com

We use Grease Lighting...4 kids here..lol. You might have to redo it a few times and use a toothbrush to rub it , but we usually get everything out with it.
