Sad about life in general, never. There are too many things to be happy about and thankful for.
Sometimes I am sad about things that happen or opportunities I have passed up. But good always comes out of it and I always learn from the experiences, so that sadness is only temporary.

I have been blessed in my life to have a lot of things...a have a house, animals, a TV in my room, lots of books...

There are just some days, even though I have a good life, that just bring me down in the dumps....

That feeling never lasts forever and for that I am grateful.

As far as a set "how often" I get sad, I cannot tell you...it just depends...

often.
I havent had a good or an easy life. A lot of it was my fault and I take responsibily for my actions. I try not to make excuses but I often wonder how I would have turned out if I didnt have a progressive hearing loss that made me deaf by he time I was 24. Plus the constant LOUD ringing in my ears. And lets not forget the constant unrelenting pain.
I think I would have been a much different person

At least once a day and I don't know why. I have a loving husband and a beautiful son. Sure my life isn't perfect but I shouldn't be singing the blues all the time. I think about the babies who have terminal cancer...they don't even have a shot at life and here I am pissing itaway being sad!

For many years I had a bleeding disorder (menorraghia) that caused me to get deeply saddened during PMS time. I didn't know that I had a problem because I thought all girls experienced what I was going through.

As matters worsened, I had three surgeries two years ago to correct the condition, and now, I hardly get sad because my hormones aren't taking such a dip from losing so much blood each month.

I grew up being sad about life but I've finally come to accept that I can only do what I can do to make the world - and my world -better. The rest is beyond my control, I can't fix it, I can't stop it - I can only let it go.
