I'm a guy but I know it's a tough business and some of the people in it are let's say, Up to no good! If you have the guts and the stamina to be gawked at in your birthday suit by strangers who will often be drunk and can be offensive, then give it a go. You'll probably get a few blasts in here from the Moral Majority on the subject, but it's your body and you have the right to decide who sees it and that is none of their business and does them no harm.

If you want to do it for fun you can do pole dancing as an exercise class, that way you and your friends could enjoy and practice in safety.

I should imagine being a pole dancer is a bit more seedy and you are putting yourself at risk.
Don't think I would like a load of men perving at me, have a think about what they will be thinking about, as your sliding around your pole. It certainly won't be that they like your hair or your costume is nice.

Besides why do you even if it's temporary want to be dancing with a pole while creepy men throw dollar bills at you? Is that honestly what you & your friends consider harmless fun? God forbid some freak decides to follow you home. So no don't do it.

I'm a guy - but if I was a female, and had a good bod - then it would be great fun to try it, and maybe make lots of money - as well as having fun, doing it. Go for it, life's short and then you die
- so live a little. Seriously, do it if you have the bottle, maybe it can be a nice career move - but you'll never know if you don't try,
and you'll always look back and wonder " what if " !!!!

well it's easy money, maybe too easy. Just don't do it for longer than a few months, that is giving up on life to me! It's kinda skanky by the way, guys will lose respect for you believe me! They won't take you seriously because you put yourself out there. It's in the same category as prostitution and porn so you tell me if that's a great category to be under?

I never been a dancer but have work at strip clubs for over ten years. You will be find if you go to work and then go home. The problems start when you start living the life style. Going to afterhour clubs, and parties. Dating the employees; it all starts getting pretty bad and quick and you won't see it. Give yourself a time frame. 1, 2, even 6 months and stick to it. Save your money!!
