Yes, I do.
I'm jealous because I try and try to be happy and things just keep happening to me that make life harder and harder.
Even though I push through everything they still seem to have it all.
And you can tell just by looking at them how happy they are.
It seems to beam through them.
I can't freely admit it because I'm kind of a penned up person.
I am only saying even this much because yahoo answers is a world of strangers.
I don't mean to be jealous;
I try not to be.
But sometimes I just can't push myself that hard.

No, I do not get jealous. I may have a short term interest in a small part of that person's life but that is immediately swept away by the realization that people come as a package. Along with whatever happiness that you might envy, comes the trials and troubles that haunt them. How many happy Hollywood couples suddenly announce a divorce? How many billionaires suddenly declare bankruptcy? How many of the "beautiful people" die of cancer or AIDS? Jealousy is just the evil inclination trying to get the best of you. Treat it as such. I am a rich man in that I am satisfied with what I have. There is no need or room for jealousy.

Depends on the person and what they're happy about. I am naturally happy when others are happy, but what if they're happy at something they've done and I haven't yet accomplished? That wouldn't make me happy, I would be sad. And yes, I would get jealous.

When people don't feel good about themselves, they will often feel jealously towards other peoples happiness and the other person unhappiness comes through crystal clear to the person who is happy. Emotions are a strong indicator and automatically shows on the person as to what's going with them.

No I am generally happy for other people's happiness. Although I am a little jealous of Posh Spice's happiness with Davis Beckham...hehehe.

Unfortunately I do get jealous sometimes I wish I didn't but there it is. I'm lucky in my own right and I have more then most but not enough to help me get out from under like everyone else.
