In my opinion , it is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to love someone too much!
That's like saying can you have too much goodness in the world.
Love is the greatest thing we know of, other than life itself. The problem is, we equate loving someone too much with doing things that are wrong. We make excuses in the name of love.
We tell ourselves that we did it because we love someone too much but in reality, there is a much deeper reason. We need to get in touch with those reasons and seek solutions accordingly.

God Bless!

I don't think you can love anyone too much unless you are misinterpreting the definition of love. Some people confuse love - lust - and foolishness. There are some people who will jump through hoops and think they are doing all in the name of love, but when you begin to disrespect yourself and others 'in the name', that is not love.

To me, this is what love is: 1Corn 13:1-13 summarized is called the "Love Chapter". Love suffers long, and is kind, does not envy or is jealous, doesn't puff itself up and prove itself, not prideful, does not act or think unseemly (is always in control), doesn't insist on its own, isn't easily provoked to anger, does not think evil of others, rejoices in the truth, does not rejoice in sin or doing evil deeds, love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things, love never fails. Love always forgives and doesn't bring it back to your face. Now, having defined what love is to me - If you are loving someone on 'this level' then I you can't love too much.

If you are loving with the intent of receiving back - then your love is one-sided. If you are doing things just to get someone to 'love you back' then you are deceiving yourself and that is not love.

Love doesn't get mad and turns on you.

We, as a nation of people talk love a lot - however, we don't really understand what love really is and what love really does. Love is a great sacrifice and would give up its own life to save another.

I don't know of any other love that strong and that determined - except the love I have received from Jesus Christ.

Kind of, but if you get the feeling you love someone too much, I'd say it was meant to be.

yes, I think sometimes we give everything to another person and don't save anything for ourselves. we have to love ourselves in order to really love someone else.

I gave everything to my ex, tried to make all of his dreams come true, no matter what it took, and I almost lost my family in the process.

there is nothing wrong with loving deeply, but never forget the other people in your life that depend on you also, like your family and friends.
