Ahh another man that likes to LEARN. =)
I watch History Channel, Discovery Channel, Travel Channel, The Learning Channel, Food Network(I dig cooking) and Animal PLanet. I probably watch maybe 2 hours of non-educational television a day.

discovery channel is good, history channel international is better than the history channel; I have never seen the military channel (though i'm a vet);
I like CSPAN, especially when they interview authors on Sunday nights; ESPN is good too, sometimes, though I hate the fact that they televise Poker. I used to get BBC News channel, but no longer, and that saddens me, since that is the best source of TV news in English on the planet.

I like the News channels (CNN- in particular) the Discovery Channel, the Weather Channel, PBS, an occasional Movie or two- and an occasional stop at Network TV to see what's going on in the news- locally! :)

Pretty much the same here. Although I do watch Fox for a couple shows, namely Family Guy (on Cartoon Network too). For news I watch Time Warner's 24-hour news channel here.
