1983 I didn't work then I was a full time mother to my 3 sons. I looked after my sisters son while she was in hospital as well that summer

Yup, I can remember the summer of 83'. I was preparing for my wedding in September. I was busy remodeling an apartment, prepping all the things for the wedding, working. Back then it was a lot of fun, Ahhh to be young again

Yea i can, i was about to turn 13, livin with my mum at the time, i remember me n my mates found a way to get on the roof above our local shops, spent most of our summer holidays up on the roof lol listening to 'bananaramas, cool summer', wotta blast from the past, cheers for that hun....

I was 11.
My next door neighbours went on holiday and we had to look after their house so I spent the whole time in their back garden lol!!! It was a lovely hot summer and I got really brown from sitting in the sun, reading and playing on their swing.
I was listening to Spandau Ballet. And I was watching Roland Rat on GMTV every morning!!!
We got a new kitten who we called Cindy (she lived to be a really old cat and died in 1997).
I started Comprehensive school that September and hated it.
My other half who is 11 years my junior was only about 8 or 9 months old so I guess he was pooing himself, dribbling and babbling nonsense. Much like he still does really!

Yep! Sailing in a different regatta, in a different city every weekend, having a blast, sailing during the week. And spending every waking moment with my boyfriend. I was in the 11th grade. Fun times back then!
